Filip and Neil were at Pro Wrestling Elite’s 7th Anniversary event in Ayr at the Citadel on July 21st. The event was sure to be the biggest wrestling event of the year, and it was the teams first visit. The wrestling on show didn’t let down, and the fans (and our team) were captivated from start to finish as wrestling found it’s home in Scotland. Check out our podcast review below.
The event, marking 7 years of Pro Wrestling Elite, included some of the biggest names in Scottish wrestling, and others from countries around the UK and America. The main draw of the evening was the Hurricane, former WWE wrestler, a real star for everyone to marvel at during the evening. But others, such as Jordan Devlin, Kenny Williams and Joe Hendry were on hand to provide even more excitement as the crowd were entertainment from the first seconds to the last.
The technical moves and brawling were incredible, surpassing many of the recent big budget WWE events the team have watched of late. The heels were incredible in their roles, and the faces drew the crowd into their emotional and physical battles all evening.
Championships were on the line. But, more importantly, reputations were on the line too as the wrestlers faced off in some of the most adrenaline filled bouts of wrestling Neil and Filip had ever seen.
Pro Wrestling Elite know how to put on a show. The wrestling was first class, and the entertainment was top drawer.
Pro wrestling in Scotland is on the rise and will continue to grow if the wrestling on show continues to provide such entertainment.
Happy Anniversary Pro Wrestling Elite, it was a fantastic evening of wrestling, and entertainment.
