Neil and Filip talk about the latest WWE Pay Per View, Money In the Bank 2018. Braun Strowman won the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, beating the likes of Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Finn Balor, Rusev and more. Was it a good move to give the victory and briefcase to Alexa Bliss?
We also discuss AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ retaining his title, and why it is good that his feud is finishing. We also look at what happened at the following WWE Monday Night Raw, and WWE Smackdown Live. Money, money … MONEY!
We analyse every match from this WWE PPV, with a big focus on the main matches. The WWE main event saw Braun Strowman become Mr Monster (Money) In the Bank after he won the ladder match. We all knew he would win, but should WWE have pushed him sooner. Would it be better if someone else won, like Samoa Joe or Finn Balor?
The WWE Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match was amazing, and the briefcase was snatched by Alexa Bliss, who is becoming the perfect heel in the women’s division. Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax had a great match, like David vs Goliath, but it was cut short as Alexa Bliss cashed in her WWE contract and won the title straight away from Nia Jax!
WWE Monday Night Raw confirmed that Brawn will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title and hopefully we can get a new WWE champion. Dolph Ziggler beat Seth Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Title, and we talk about what might happen next. Ronda Rousey has been suspended for attacking Alexa Bliss, and also assaulting Kurt Angle, so what will happen to her after the 30-day suspension?
On WWE Smackdown Live, we saw Shinsuke Nakamura set his sights on Jeff Hardy. Will this mean a feud for the WWE US Title possibly? There was a gauntlet tournament to determine the number one contender to face AJ Styles for his title at Extreme Rules, and it was won by Rusev!
Will it be another Happy Rusev Day for the Bulgarian Brute? Find out in our podcast below.
