So I haven’t bought an Xbox One, for the same reason I didn’t buy a Wii U… No… Calm down! I was literally going to buy an Xbox One, then Scorpio was announced. Just like NX got announced when I was planning on getting a Wii U.
The thing is I don’t want to invest in an Xbox One when Scorpio is just around the corner. I still have my Xbox 360 and PS3, to be honest I still have my Xbox and Wii also.
Anyway, why would anyone buy an Xbox One when Scorpio is due soon?

I don’t plan on getting a Scorpio. I already have an Xbox one. I would consider an Xbox one s as it takes up less space for one. The reason I don’t want a Scorpio is because of the price commitment. I don’t own a 4K television. Massive money on the go to get both a tv and a Scorpio. I also believe that the games on either systems will not be different other than graphically. For now I can stand that. If and when 4K becomes more mainstream I may consider a purchase.
D4lien, I would suggest that while you wait, you may be missing out on some great games. Microsoft give you accounts now. Surly they would allow you access to all of your content on both machines? With an option of some beefed up graphics on the Scorpio to sweeten the deal? So why not enjoy what’s available until the Scorpio is ready? Wait in style 😉

I loved my XBOX one at first however now fairly bored of it to be honest, I only play a small selection of games, however no matter what game you play someone will always have a cheat or a tip that they use to win, therefore as they would say on Dragon’s Den
” Im Out ”
More into my Flight Simulator at the moment at least no one can cheat haha!

Has anyone changed their mind now the specs and price tag have been announced?

Depends on the E3 announcement. If this is there next generation console, then I might.
If they are still planning a new Xbox o in a couple of years then most likely I won’t buy one.
I’ve heard the VR could be good on it… Which is interesting…

I think it’ll be a generation-and-a-half console that just like Kinect and everything else XBox does will be a tremendous disappointment but microsoft will throw money at the marketing and the american public will scream “‘Mericur!” and buy the domestic product. Add in some creative reporting of units shipped to retailers not units sold to customers and it’ll look a lot more successful than fact.
Whatever happened to Kinect? It fell on its rear immediately but was still branded as a success
