Score Match, Fifa, Last Day on Earth, Broforce and zombies make their mark this week, covering mobile, PC and console gaming all in one podcast to end all podcasts. Well, until next week!
Mobile gaming has taken a considerable amount of flack over the past few years, with many seeing it to blame for the loot box and microtransaction culture that has been forged by developers and publishers throughout all forms of gaming.
The team have been playing Score Match on Android and iOs to get a flavour for the way in which mobile gaming has progressed since they last decided to dive into the murky waters it lives in. Score Match, initially, appeared to be an enjoyable game both Filip and Neil liked. The graphics are reminiscent of Manchester United Premier League Champions or Football Manager 16 onwards.
Score Match delivered an interesting experience up until a recent update from the developers, and now the team have decided to move on. Listen to the podcast for more on the update that has shaken the Score Match community, with battle lines being drawn in the sand between the competing sides just like a Glasgow, Edinburgh or London derby day.
Kefir!, an indie developer, recently launched Last Day On Earth the team delve into the zombie apocalypse, survival game world bringing you the opinions on how it currently stands.
Finally, Neil has been revisiting some older games of late, and Devolver Digital’s Broforce has made it to the front of the queue of games. Having completed Broforce a couple of years back and has been going through the game again, this time concentrating on freeing every prisoner and killing every enemy.
Devolver Digital delivered a fantastic game with Broforce, and the team highly recommend picking it up cheap on PC or console.
