Battle Royale games, PUBG and Fortnite are discussed in detail along with indie games Gang Beasts and Human Fall Flat as The team deliver their verdicts on their experiences this week in gaming. There is also space for Vermintide 2 and more on CS:GO as part of the podcast too.
Indie developers Boneloaf and Curve Digital recently updated their games Gang Beasts and Human Fall Flat with their quirky physics and ridiculous multiplayer gameplay. The graphics are colourful and cutesy in nature making them stand out from other indie games of a similar type.
Battle Royale games are enjoying their time in the sun, almost as much as zombie based ones. PUBG had a decent head-start but has since been eclipsed by the phenomenal Fortnite. It is worth noting that PUBG still have a huge player base, but Fortnite is growing almost daily with exciting new updates and seasons being frequently launched to freshen things up.
Updates are where PUBG has suffered immeasurably, fans can only wonder what might have been if bugs, griefing and cheating had been addressed sooner. Functionality such as cross-platform play has also been missed, which Fortnite has used to catapult itself to the top of the Battle Royale tree.
On the Triple-A game front, the team discuss Vermintide 2 a colossal release for the developers, with insane levels of hype following it everywhere it goes. Cassie and Filip used their exclusive Beta access to go through the game in detail and deliver their verdicts so far.
Filip also discusses his return to CS:GO and how he is finding the ranked matches as he tries to get back on track to reaching elite status.
Do you think Filip will make it to elite status in CS:GO? Is the battle too much?
Which is better, Human Fall Flat or Gang Beasts?
Why not join the conversation below and let the team know!
As per usual if you would prefer to talk to us on some other subject rather than Battle Royale we will be genuinely pleased to hear what you have to say
One silly point that has surfaced was the pronounciation of Battle Royale.
Someone suggested Battle Royale should be pronounce Battle Roy Ale as in pale, while most of us go along with Battle Royale as in Battle Roy Al.
You say Royale, I say Royale …. sheesh
Getting up in the morning is a Battle Royale when you know you have to face this sort of stuff!
