PC Gamer Weekender
For all you overlords that cheer in chorus about the PC Master race.
This weekend finally brings in the PC Gamer event that we’ve been waiting for. The weekend is heaving with tons of content, pre-release PC Games and developers awaiting hypercritical questions and fandom glee.
As we go into the third year running, PC Gamer 2018 seems to be bigger and more on point than before.
There’s over 40 playable games and one of the delights to be especially excited about is Warhammer Vermintide 2.
The sequel to the 2015 Game serves to bring in more versatility with the hero careers and with added ‘super’ abilities and improved story-lines. Luckily, Visitors to the PC gamer event will have the opportunity to play the game prior to the official release!
Take on the role of a mage and bring some magic to your life! (Or, any other hero that don’t fit awkward puns.)
Additionally, Kingdom Come Deliverance has been reviewed by some gamers as being in similar gameplay as The Witcher 3 and Skyrim. A charming hero heads an epic story in a large world. I personally think this will have the most interest and there was a lot of buzz on steam about the upcoming release.
Obviously there will be tons of pre-release games but a large amount of attention will be directed towards the PC Gamer Weekender stages where you can see some of your favourite developers and some exclusive stuff. So far confirmed Creative Assembly on A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA; Fatshark on Warhammer: Vermintide 2; Mojang on Minecraft in 2018 and Subset Games on Into The Breach. Pop to the stage with some popcorn and explore the mind of creative geniuses.
No true PC gamer isn’t constantly looking to upgrade their kit or update their set-up. Several focused workshop, run by Tom Logan of OC3D, is the perfect opportunity for you to overhaul your system whether you’re a beginner or an old-hand.
With only a few more days to go, the roster seems to be growing and this mouse clicker is ready a fun-packed weekend of shiny pre-releases to retro classics.
